Floaters not camping here carry their gear through the grounds to the outside "Fisherman's Parking" area, preserving the peace within. Soon, a new Forest Service road will ease river access for pickups, a welcome change for those ferrying their watercraft. For anglers and paddlers alike, the river’s clear current and the surrounding forest trails carve out countless hours of exploration and quiet adventure.

Upper Coffee Pot offers fifteen campsites, seven equipped with 30 or 50 amp electrical hookups, arranged to balance convenience and privacy. Though running water isn’t at each site, strategically placed water spigots make refilling fresh tanks straightforward. Restrooms are simple drop-down units, cleaned regularly, so odors rarely intrude on the fresh forest air. The campground hums with steady activity during peak season—floaters come and go in a steady stream, fishermen park just outside the gate, and the camp host moves through the grounds with evident care. The sites’ cleanliness, from raked gravel to swept fire rings, speaks to a community that respects the land and each other’s space.
