Welcome to CampTale, operated by Camptale LLC. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

CampTale is a platform that helps users discover, research, and book campgrounds across the United States. Our services include:

• Campground search and discovery
• Campground information and photos
• Reservation and booking facilitation
• User accounts and camping history tracking (Passport feature)
• Reviews and ratings

3. User Accounts

Some features of CampTale require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

4. User Conduct

When using CampTale, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Upload malicious code or attempt to interfere with the service
• Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without authorization
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Post spam, promotional content, or irrelevant material

5. Campground Bookings and Reservations

CampTale facilitates connections between users and campgrounds. We are not responsible for the accuracy of campground information, availability, or the fulfillment of reservations. Always confirm booking details directly with the campground. When making a reservation through CampTale:

• You are entering into an agreement with the campground, not with CampTale
• Cancellation policies are set by individual campgrounds
• Pricing and availability are subject to change
• You are responsible for reviewing and understanding the campground's rules and policies

6. User Content

You may have the opportunity to submit reviews, photos, or other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:

• Grant CampTale a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content
• Represent that you own or have the right to share the content
• Agree that your content does not violate any third-party rights
• Understand that we may remove content that violates these Terms

7. Intellectual Property

All content on CampTale, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of CampTale or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

CampTale uses third-party services including Google Maps, Google Places, and Google reCAPTCHA. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CampTale is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from the service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the service will be corrected

Campground information, including photos, amenities, descriptions, and availability, is provided for informational purposes only and may not reflect current conditions. Content on this platform may be generated, supplemented, or enhanced using artificial intelligence and automated systems. Such content may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before relying on it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CampTale and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruption or computer damage
• Issues with campground reservations or stays
• Any other intangible losses

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Camptale LLC (d/b/a CampTale), its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Colorado.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
